The food bank is here to support those in the local community who do not have sufficient funds to buy their own food. To access the food bank you must be referred from a community partner or agency. Read here for more information.

The food bank is open every Wednesday from 12:00-14:00 for clients by appointment only. Donations will be gratefully accepted at different times, please see the donations page.

Referrals

Individuals wanting to access the food bank must be referred by a service, agency or organisation that has identified their need.

Referrers need to fill in and email a referral form detailing the reasons for someone needing to access the food bank

Get involved

We are always looking for volunteers for a number of roles. This can be on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis. Whatever skills and time you have to share, we would love to hear from you!

How do I access the food bank?

People wanting to access the food bank must obtain a referral form. Please see our referrals page for a list of local services, agencies and organisations that can do this.

When are you open?

The food bank is normally open Wednesdays from 12-2pm, but at present we are accepting clients by appointment only. PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THE FOOD BANK UNLESS YOU HAVE AN APPOINTMENT.

How can I donate to the food bank?

We are gratefully able to accept donations at the food bank between 10:30 and 11:45 on a Wednesday morning. There is no longer any need to arrange your drop off.
