Food Donations

The Foodbank relies entirely on donations from individuals, schools, businesses and churches in the community.

We welcome donations of in date, non-perishable food items - and also essential toiletries and household products.

Due to food hygiene reasons we are not able to accept any alcohol, fresh meat or dairy. We are also gratefully fully stocked with pasta, rice, baked beans and breakfast cereal and cannot accept more.

To find out what we need this week, please see our facebook page

Monetary Donations

The Food Bank became a registered charity in 2017. It relies entirely on donated funds and grants to operate. Moving forward, we are aiming to build a solid financial foundation to ensure the service we provide can continue, develop and improve. Monetary donations enable us to purchase much needed items for the Food Bank, subject to their demand, and also to support the employment of our Coordinator. Every contribution is gratefully received and directly supports the work that we do.

The easiest way to donate to us is via PayPal, using the link here. There is the option to add gift aid from the email receipt after you have donated.

If you require an alternative method of payment please email info@hangletonfoodbank.org

We are a registered Charity, number 1171532

Please sign up for Gift Aid if you are able to when making a monetary donation as we can claim your tax back, which means an extra 25% goes to the Foodbank at no extra cost to you.

If you would like to make small regular donations to the Foodbank, it is possible to donate by standing order direct from your bank. If you are interested in doing this, please send us a message via email or Facebook, and we will get back to you with a form and our bank details.
