The foodbank is here to support those in the local community who do not have sufficient funds to buy their own food. To access the foodbank you must be referred from a community partner or agency. Read here for more information.
The foodbank is open every Wednesday from 12-2pm for clients and donations.
St George’s Church Hall, Court Farm Rd, Hove, BN3 7QR.
The Food Bank became a registered charity in 2017. It relies entirely on donations, funds and grants.
We welcome donations of in date, non-perishable food items.
Monetary donations enable us to purchase much needed items for the Foodbank, subject to their demand, and also to support the employment of our Coordinator.
Every contribution is gratefully received and directly supports the work that we do.
Individuals wanting to access the Foodbank must be referred by a service, agency or organisation that has identified their need.
Referrers need to fill in and email a referral form detailing the reasons for someone needing to access the Foodbank
We are always looking for volunteers for a number of roles. This can be on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis. Whatever skills and time you have to share, we would love to hear from you!
